February 2026

February was a month of meaningful exploration. Our mixed-age group engaged in rich, hands-on experiences. Through sensory invitations using colored rice, textured mixtures, and paint in sealed bags, children explored with their hands, eyes, and whole bodies.

Fine Motor: Tongs, scoops, and whisks strengthened hand muscles.

Social-Emotional: Turn-taking, joint attention, mirror exploration, and dramatic play. Cognitive & Early Math: Volume, spatial awareness, sorting, and problem-solving.

Creative Expression: Process-based art on various surfaces.
